When we as coaches, facilitators and friends, were sitting chatting one day about the various leadership challenges our respective clients were facing, we realised that despite the different wording, most challenges faced, were very similar. We also realised that all too often, our clients were trying to be leaders according to the book – and that each person had a different book! And so we came to the conclusion, that in general, we all tend to over complicate leadership and that perhaps it’s not so complicated after all.
From this discussion, we decided there had to be a different way. A simpler way. So in our quest to simplify the leadership challenges our clients face, we put our heads together and Leadership by Design was born.
