Leadership. It’s a term that both individuals and organisations grapple with. What is leadership? Are good leaders born or made? Which leadership style is best in which situation? And so the questions continue… Any Google search of leadership will yield thousands of results as to what good leadership is and what it isn’t. And interestingly, most results will contradict the views of the previous site!
It does seem that leadership has become a bit of an overused and misunderstood concept, yet now, more than ever, there is a need to demonstrate strong and authentic leadership, regardless of role or position. But how? There are a number of schools of thought as to how and perhaps in our quest to become the best leaders we can, we have overly complicated the issue.
